Born in a small town in North Carolina, Arielle grew up in a family that loved food, especially classic Southern recipes. At just 10 years old, she informally began her career in the food industry by helping out around her parents’ grocery store which specialized in Latin American foods. When her local youth group was traveling overseas to serve a community in Eastern Europe, Arielle’s entrepreneurial spirit and love of baking inspired her to start selling baked goods to fund the trip. She continued baking throughout her teen years, using her earnings to travel to a new country each year. Despite her strong roots in food and baking, it took some soul-searching to fully immerse herself in the profession. She started out by taking special orders in a part-time capacity as well as working a full-time job. After formally graduating from pastry school on her 25th birthday and resigning from her full-time job, she set up shop in her garage as a professional pastry kitchen in 2017. It took only three years to outgrow that location, and in August 2020, she formally opened a storefront shop and commercial kitchen in Lewisville that serves DFW’s conference centers, department stores, high-end restaurants, and more. Her meaningful journey has been filled with cake, enthusiasm, personal growth, cookies, and even a few tears. This passion for quality pastry can be tasted and felt in all of the food her kitchen creates, making each event or special occasion a memorable experience.
